Cal Ripken is the 5-12 year old baseball division of the Babe Ruth League.

It is divided into

• Teeball for 5-6 year olds batting off of a tee on a 45 foot field.
• Rookie for 7-8 year olds and features coach pitching on a 50 foot field.
• Minors for 9-10 year olds with the kids pitching on a 60 foot field.
• Majors for 11-12 year olds moving up to a 70 foot field.

The focus is on learning the game by working on fundamentals and playing various positions.

The Majors and Minors have tournament teams that play beyond the normal season against other local tournament teams, potentially culminating in District and State Tournaments.
